While there is still a large populace waiting for the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine, here is a man who claims to have taken a total of 11 shots of the Covid vaccine.
Now the complete tale - An 84-year-old man, identified as Brahmadev Mandal, from Bihar is making startling claims that he has received 11 shots of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Soon after his shocking claims, the district health authorities ordered enquiry be launched to find out how he managed to evade the authorities so many times.
The man is a resident of the Orai village of Puraini police station under the Udakishunganj sub-division of the Madhepura district.

The Octogenarian was about to get his 12th dose of the vaccine when he was caught.
"I benefitted a lot from the vaccine. This is why I have been taking it repeatedly," said Mandal, who is a retired postal department employee.
It is because of the "multifarious benefits" he received that made Mandal take so many doses of the vaccine.
Mandal took his first Covid vaccine shot in February and then subsequent times each month. The last vaccine shot he took was on December 30 at a public health centre.
The district authorities have raised an alarm on this 'major' lapses on the part of the health authorities and his initiated a strict investigation into the incident.
