Reliance Foundation Sports, the CSR arm of RIL, has also been leading India's Olympic Movement by giving athletes all over the nation the chance to win championships in a variety of sports and driving India's efforts to host international sporting events.

Digital Desk: Reliance Industries today announced that it will purchase a franchise in Cricket South Africa's upcoming T20 league, further solidifying its expanding global presence in cricket. The new franchise, which will be based in Cape Town, will carry the Mumbai Indians name forward and is closely followed by the acquisition of the International League T-20 team based in the UAE.

Through its ownership of cricket franchises, the Indian Football League, sports sponsorship, consulting, athlete talent management, and the introduction of industry best practises, Reliance Industries has played a significant role in the evolution of the sports ecosystem.

 Mrs. Ambani spearheaded an effective bid earlier this year to bring the prestigious International Olympic Committee Session back to Mumbai in 2023 after a 40-year hiatus. Director of Reliance Industries Mrs. Nita Ambani stated, "I'm thrilled to welcome our new T20 team to the Reliance family! We are thrilled to bring South Africa's brand of fearless and entertaining cricket to that country, which shares our love of the game with India. We are eager to examine the strength and potential of this collaboration with South Africa's robust sporting ecosystem.

We are still dedicated to using sport to bring happiness and cheer to people as we expand MI's global cricketing footprint! The chairman of Reliance Jio, Mr. Akash Ambani, stated, "With the addition of our South African franchise, we now have three T20 teams spread across three nations. We look forward to using our knowledge of the Mumbai Indians brand and the cricket ecosystem to help develop the team and give fans some of the best cricketing experiences.
