The second T20 World Cup 2024 semi-final will see 2007 winners India take on defending champions England in a repeat of the 2022 T20 World Cup semi-final.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan achieved a remarkable win over Australia and, despite a loss to India, rebounded with a thrilling victory over Bangladesh in their final Super 8 encounter.


In the other group, South Africa emerged victorious in all three of their matches against England, the United States, and West Indies, securing their place in the top four. England won their matches against West Indies and the United States but suffered a defeat to South Africa.
