According to the news published in the Daily Mail, this utensil belongs to the time of King Kangxi of China in the 17th century, who ruled from the year 1661 to 1722. It was taken over by a British businessman in the year 1850. After this, he brought this special vessel to England.

Till now, it was handled by his descendants. But now, it has been sold by the family of that businessman living in Suffolk, England. Naturally, they are delighted after getting such a huge offer. However, the family that sold the 7-inch pottery did not reveal its identity.
