Indian Students were heading west in a passenger van in Toronto on Saturday morning when it crashed with a tractor-trailer.
Digital Desk: According to the Indian High Commission to Canada, five Indian students perished in an accident between a vehicle and a tractor-trailer near Toronto on Saturday. Two additional people were sent to the hospital with serious injuries. Harpreet Singh, 24, Jaspinder Singh, 21, Karanpal Singh, 22, Mohit Chouhan, 23, and Pawan Kumar, 23, were confirmed dead, as per local media sources. They were all in Montreal or the Greater Toronto area for school. "Heart-breaking tragedy in Canada," Indian envoy Ajay Bisaria tweeted.
