Digital Desk: Two-time Olympic medallist, PV Sindhu will have another opportunity to win gold in the Commonwealth Games singles. After defeating Jia Min Yeo of Singapore in the women's singles badminton semifinal on Sunday, August 7, Sindhu Sindhu stormed into the final.

PV Sindhu is in her second straight singles final at the Commonwealth Games after losing to Saina Nehwal, who won the bronze medal at the London Olympics, in the Gold Coast final. Even though the scorecard reads "straight games," Jia Min Yeo put a lot of pressure on Sindhu to win her victories of 21-19 and 21-17.

At the Commonwealth Games, Sindhu is looking for a medal for the third time in a row. The former world champion is in excellent shape, having not dropped a single game, including in the mixed team competition where India took home the silver medal.

In fact, in India's 1-3 loss against Malaysia, Sindhu was the only winner.
