The 67-year-old renowned celebrity currently holds the Guinness World Record for the most film credits...

Digital Desk: In the world of entertainment, there is a widespread misunderstanding that comedians don't earn as much money as well-known Bollywood actors do. Many thinks that the richest comedian in India is reportedly Kapil Sharma. But it turns out that the richest comedian in India is Brahmanandam, a well-known Telugu actor and comedian, not Kapil Sharma or Bharti Singh. He makes more than Rs 2 crore a month and is worth a total of Rs 490 crore.

The 67-year-old renowned celebrity currently holds the Guinness World Record for the most film credits for a living actor with over 1000 films. In 2019, he was awarded the Padma Shri for his contributions to art. He continues to be one of the highest-paid comedy actors in India.

According to the claims, before celebrities like Kapil Sharma, Bharti Singh, and others became well-known, Brahmanandam was already considered as one of India's highest-paid comedic actors. For his film roles, he charges between Rs 1 crore and Rs 2 crore for his film roles and Rs 1 crore for brand endorsements.

In addition, Brahmanandam owns an Audi R8, an Audi Q7, and a premium black Mercedes-Benz. He also owns a precious piece of agricultural land worth millions of rupees. Brahmanandam also has a mansion in Hyderabad's affluent Jubilee Hills area.
His rise from a lecturer to India's top comedian as the son of a carpenter is tremendously inspiring.

When DD Telugu's Pakapakalu premiered in 1985, he made his television debut. His debut film role was in Sri Tatavataram, which was followed by roles in Satyagraham and Aha Naa Pellanta. Throughout a more than 35-year career, he has garnered six state Nandi Awards, one Filmfare Award South, and six CineMAA Awards.
